During your time with Jim, he will teach you about every aspect of professional photography. Beginning with his inspiration and approach to photography and business, Jim will teach you how to pose and direct your model, how to communicate and evoke emotion to connect with your subjects, how to find, pitch and update potential clients, the best approach to bidding on a job, how to brand and market yourself as a photographer, how to build a website that is appealing to clients and consistent with your brand, and how to develop and keep up with your social media and marketing.
In addition to everything that Jim will teach you, you will also be photographing professional models with the top leading agencies. Jim will demonstrate his hands-on approach with hair, makeup and styling and will be by your side to instruct and assess you as you communicate with and photograph the models. As an attendee, you will get a private one-on-one mentor session with Jim where you will have the opportunity to ask him any questions you may have and show him a selection of your images to critique.
Attendees of Jim’s September workshops will get the opportunity to test out and shoot with incredibly versatile Leica S-System equipment provided by Leica! Sony will also be providing camera gear for the attendees to try out!
